The Cleveland Cavaliers are going through their best season in franchise history.
Not even the LeBron James-led teams were able to pull this off.
Nevertheless, that doesn’t mean they’re satisfied.
If anything, it only means they’re looking forward to getting better.
Following their big win over the New York Knicks, Ty Jerome shared his thoughts on the current state of the team.
While he acknowledges they’re not perfect, he believes they’re just getting started (via Spencer Davies):
“We’re not perfect, but I think if we had to really look at ourselves in the mirror, we know we’re pretty happy with where we’re at, but there’s a lot more for us to continue to grow,” he said.

Not many people thought this team would be as good as it’s been this season.
They’re 36 games over .500, and with the final third of the regular season ahead of them, they can officially talk and think about the playoffs and potentially even making it to the NBA Finals.
Jerome has played a key role off the bench.
He’s taken plenty of pressure off of Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland with his playmaking, making spot starts or coexisting with them on the court at times.
His timely shooting and three-level scoring have helped this team get and maintain big leads when the starters aren’t on the court.
This team doesn’t have as much star power as the Boston Celtics or New York Knicks, but they’re a well-rounded team that just addressed its most pressing need with the additions of De’Andre Hunter and Javonte Green.
Even so, as good as they’ve been, they also know that it won’t mean a thing unless they get the job done when it matters the most.
At this point, it’s all about taking care of business in the playoffs.
