Max Strus wowed the NBA world on Tuesday night with a wild game-winning buzzer-beater that had to be seen to be believed.
This miraculous three-pointer led to a 121-119 victory for the Cleveland Cavaliers over the Dallas Mavericks and it also earned a place in the history books.
As pointed out by Tim MacMahon, Strus’ game-winning three was officially from 59 feet.
It is the second-longest game-winning buzzer-beater of the three-point era, behind only Devonte’ Graham back in 2021.

For the evening, Strus scored 21 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists against the Mavericks.
And his final three-pointer wasn’t his only bucket from downtown, he went 7-of-10 from the three-point line during his 25 minutes.
Strus has been a huge addition to the team since joining last summer.
So far in 2023-24, Strus is averaging 12.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.8 assists, shooting 41.8% from the field and 34.3% from the three-point line.
There were some doubts and concerns about Strus when he was signed by the team.
Was he going to be a good fit and he could truly help the team’s offense?
He has shown that he is a vital part of the team’s starting five and can be a great clutch player like he was in Tuesday’s game.
The victory over Dallas brings Cleveland’s record to 38-19 and they remain the second seed in the Eastern Conference.
The Milwaukee Bucks, however, are right behind them with a 38-21 record, so the Cavaliers will need to keep winning to stay in second place.
After their triumph over the Mavericks, the Cavaliers will next face the Chicago Bulls, Detroit Pistons, and New York Knicks later this week.
Will Strus give fans another amazing moment like he did on Tuesday?
