Larry Nance Jr. is returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The 32-year-old big man just signed a one-year deal with Cleveland, years after playing with them from 2017-18 to 2020-21.
Speaking with Marc Spears, Nance talked about how excited he is to come back to his hometown and give it his all.
āIām just happy to be able to give all I have to help my hometown team challenge for a title,” said Nance.

Nance was born in Akron, Ohio, and is ready to come back to the Cavaliers at such an important time.
The team was the best in the East last season, and they are hoping to repeat that in 2025-26.
However, they are also yearning to fix their problems that popped up in the playoffs, when they were pushed out without being able to reach the Finals.
Is Nance going to help them change that and do better next season?
In 2024-25, he averaged 8.5 points and 4.3 rebounds on 51.6 percent from the floor.
He only played in 24 games for the Atlanta Hawks before suffering from a nondisplaced fracture in his right knee.
He is seemingly healed and ready to get to work, this time back in Cleveland.
Nance will be working closely with Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley, helping to form a strong frontcourt core.
Lonzo Ball is also joining the team, shoring up support on the backcourt.
The Cavaliers have a lot to prove next season, and they will work hard to ensure they don’t suffer the same fate that they did in 2024-25.
It won’t be easy, and it’ll require more than just Nance performing well, but the team and its fans have hope.
During his first stint with the Cavaliers, Nance put up an average of 9.5 points and 7.5 rebounds.
What will he do this time?
