Ty Jerome has officially left the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the team is going to really miss him.
Jerome just agreed to a three-year, $28 million contract with the Memphis Grizzlies, putting an end to his exciting stint with the Cavs.
Many fans didn’t want Jerome to leave, and, according to a new social media post, he wasn’t planning on going.
Jerome shocked fans when he wrote that he wasn’t even given the chance to come back.
“I was never presented with the option of returning,” Jerome posted on his Instagram story, via Legion Hoops.

Jerome spent two seasons with the Cavaliers, averaging 12.3 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 3.3 assists during that time.
He became one of the hottest players off the bench, and some people envisioned him being with the team for a very long time.
They thought he could be the sort of capable and reliable bench player who could eventually win Sixth Man of the Year.
Unfortunately, Jerome will not be bringing his talent to the Cavaliers anymore, and he will show Memphis what he has to offer.
According to him, he wasn’t even able to choose between the Cavs and another team, which has left many fans scratching their heads.
They thought the front office would fight hard to get him back, but apparently that wasn’t the case.
If Jerome continues to improve his skills and contributes to the Grizzlies in a big way, Cleveland fans will be even more disappointed.
They didn’t want him to go, but the fact that the team didn’t even fight for him says a lot, and it stings badly.
