The Cavaliers’ 16-0 run to start the game certainly helped their chances, and they never looked back after this hot start.
Even against teams like the Timberwolves, the Cavaliers find ways to win.
For instance, all five starters scored 12+ points, and they got a strong 15-point performance from Ty Jerome off the bench.
The Cavaliers’ depth has been their calling card all year, and it certainly paid off in this one.
After the win, fans took to social media to congratulate the team, also looking around the league to see how the team fared compared to some of the best rosters in the league.

Both conference leaders, the Cleveland Cavaliers & OKC Thunder, earned convincing wins to tighten their grip on first place.
The Cavs beat the Timberwolves 128-107, led by Evan Mobley’s 28 PTS, 10 REB.
Meanwhile, SGA dropped 31 PTS as the Thunder dominated the Pelicans 137-101.

The Oklahoma City Thunder, as fan SBOTOP pointed out on X, had yet another convincing win, which was led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s 31-point night.
The Cavaliers might not have a player as dominant as Gilgeous-Alexander, but their mix of bench and star players certainly helps them keep up.
It will be interesting to see how the Cavaliers close out the season after the all-star break and if they’ll find a way to make it back to the NBA Finals for the first time since LeBron James’ departure.
This team looks like they have what it takes now, but there’s still a lot of season left to play.
