The Cleveland Cavaliers won’t have one of their key players to face the Los Angeles Clippers.
Ty Jerome will miss his third consecutive game as he’s dealing with knee tendinitis.
Rookie forward Jaylon Tyson will also stay out, and he’s missed the past six games with a left knee contusion.
Last but not least, second-year pro Emoni Bates (two-way) will also be out.
Fortunately for Kenny Atkinson’s team, the Clippers won’t be at full strength, either.
According to a report by Farbod Esnaashari, Tyronn Lue’s side won’t have Kawhi Leonard on the court.
Hi, Hello
Kawhi Leonard is OUT against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Everyone else is available. It's the first night of a back-to-back.
Have a nice day!

Leonard has been at the forefront of the load management movement, so it’s not much of a surprise to see him miss a game of a back-to-back set.
Also, with the playoffs just around the corner, the Clippers will want their star player to finally be healthy when it matters the most.
Notably, Leonard is also walking proof of why load management isn’t effective, as it has done next to nothing to prevent him from getting hurt.
Even so, it’s clearly been beneficial for the players facing the Clippers.
Despite the never-ending string of injuries, Leonard is still an elite defender and a very efficient scorer, and not having him on the court might help the Cavs bounce back after their loss to the Detroit Pistons.
The Cavs looked poised to win close to 70 games this season, but they’ve struggled to reach 60 wins.
Hopefully, they can regain some positive momentum before the start of the playoffs.
