Anyone expecting the Cleveland Cavaliers to slow down should prepare to be severely disappointed.
According to Cavs Notes, the Cavaliers are now 47-10, the best record in the league, after beating the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday night.
Cleveland’s 47-10 record is tied for the 11th-best start after 57 games in NBA history.
How much better can this record get?
The @cavs are now an @NBA-best 47-10 after tonight’s 129-123 win over Memphis, their 7th straight win.

The Cavaliers’ win over the Grizzlies came just days after they easily took down the New York Knicks 142-105.
They have now won seven games in a row and are far and away the best team in the Eastern Conference.
The Boston Celtics remain the second seed with a 41-16 record, six games behind the Cavaliers.
There was a time when some people thought the Cavaliers could secure the best NBA record of all time but they will fall short of that.
Still, unless something crazy happens, they will have one of the best records ever and will be the greatest team in their conference.
Of course, having a historic record doesn’t mean they will win the Finals.
The Golden State Warriors of 2016, for example, didn’t end up claiming a title.
The Cavaliers will now try to improve their record over the next few weeks, but it will be challenging.
They next face the Orlando Magic followed by The Boston Celtics.
If they can take down the Celtics, they will have defeated the second and third-best teams in the East.
How much more can this record grow and what will the Cavaliers look like when the regular season comes to an end?
