The Cleveland Cavaliers have won all but four games this season.
They have only lost one game at home and have gone perfect against the Western Conference.
Moreover, only three teams have been able to defeat them: the Boston Celtics, the Miami Heat, and the Atlanta Hawks (twice).
As reported by ClutchPoints on X, they have a scorching-hot 89% winning percentage.
Notably, that’s the same record the legendary 2015-16 Golden State Warriors had when they set a new mark with 73 regular-season wins.
The 2024-25 Cavs continue to roll, and, as of posting time, have a bonkers 89% win percentage, the same final regular season record as the 2015-16 Warriors.
Will Cleveland match, or even surpass that mark this season? 🤔 pic.twitter.com/cWnshJIINV

Of course, it’s still early to discuss that kind of record.
The Warriors had several close calls, and a little more than half of the season remains.
A lot of things could still go wrong.
The team could hit a wall, or injuries or trades could happen.
Also, while that possibility should loom large and be important to them, it’s all about getting the job done when it matters the most.
Cavs fans know pretty well how the Warriors’ record-breaking season ended, and they wouldn’t want to have the same fate.
Like those Warriors, Kenny Atkinson’s team has been the best in the league this season, and it hasn’t been particularly close.
The narrative about the team is finally starting to shift after so many big wins.
Even so, as impressive and exciting as this is, the old adage states that “it won’t mean a thing without a ring,” which should be the only thing that matters right now.
