Evan Mobley came out swinging during his first season with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The star forward was one of the best rookies in the league with an average of 15 points and 8.3 rebounds.
He ended up starting in all 69 games he played and not only got along great with his teammates but also won over the fanbase instantly.

That same devoted fanbase is now wondering why Mobley was left off Bleacher Report’s ranking of the most exciting young NBA prospects at every position.
The list is filled with some huge names: Zion Williamson, Scottie Barnes, James Wiseman, LaMelo Ball, and more.
But Mobley is absent from the list and that’s got a lot of people scratching their heads.
Most people agree that Mobley is easily one of the best young players in the league but it seems that he isn’t getting the sort of respect he deserves.
MVP Mobley
Mobley is just one of the few incredibly bright spots on the Cavs’ roster.
Alongside Darius Garland, Jarrett Allen, and others, Mobley is creating a brand new era for the Cavaliers and it’s their hard work and team chemistry that is helping them become playoff contenders.
It is true that the team ended up missing the postseason last time, mostly due to injuries that came at the worst time, but there are high hopes that won’t happen again.
Mobley will be a huge part of the team’s success in the upcoming season.
He has grown into a crucial part of the team’s frontcourt, even after just a single year on the floor.
Mobley had an incredible first year and if he is able to capitalize and build on it then the Cavaliers could be one of the best in the East.
