The Cleveland Cavaliers began the season with one of the best records in history.
They won their first 15 games of the year, eventually losing to the Boston Celtics, who broke this impressive streak.
While their undefeated streak might be over, the Cavaliers have a chance to break the all-time regular season win record, which currently stands at 73-9 from the 2015-2016 Golden State Warriors.
It would be an impressive feat if the Cavaliers dethroned the Warriors, as many have said that the Warriors team is one of the best in NBA history.
Being impressive in the regular season doesn’t seem to be what the Cavaliers are after, at least, according to broadcaster Rafa Hernandez-Brito.
“You know, 73 don’t mean a thing without the ring,” Hernandez-Brito said via “Full Court Cleveland.”
We asked Rafa & @AmicoHoops if Cavs fans should turn their attention to 73 wins now that the streak is over. #LetEmKnow

This is a team on a mission, and they want to bring another championship back to Cleveland.
Whether they break the Warriors’ record or not, this Cavaliers team is showing the rest of the league that they aren’t messing around and that they can be considered a legitimate contender.
They played the Celtics tough, and if both teams stay healthy, that game might have been a preview of the Eastern Conference Finals.
