The Cleveland Cavaliers are in the middle of a three-game winning streak, rattling off consecutive wins over the Detroit Pistons, Washington Wizards, and Minnesota Timberwolves.
They’ll look to extend that streak tonight against the Toronto Raptors, a team that is well under .500 on the season.
While this appears to be an easy matchup on paper given both team’s records, the Cavaliers might be without a few of their key players.
According to Evan Dammarell’s latest post on X, Ty Jerome and Max Strus are slated to be game-time decisions for this contest, which hurts the team’s depth.
Ty Jerome (calf) and Max Strus (ankle) are questionable and will likely be game-time decisions for the #Cavs against the Toronto Raptors.
Dean Wade (knee) and Isaac Okoro (ankle) remain out.
JT Thor is also out.

He also mentioned that Dean Wade, Isaac Okoro, and JT Thor are also out for this one, which shouldn’t come as a shock to fans given their unavailability over the past few weeks.
The Cavaliers might be missing a few players, but with a core of Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, and Evan Mobley, they still have a chance to beat any opponent who stands in their way.
Depth has been a great advantage for the Cavaliers this year when healthy, but even when they are light like they will be in this game against the Raptors, they manage to figure it out, often winning those matchups.
Their ability to win in situations like this is why the Cavaliers have gotten a lot of respect around the league, and why many believe they have a great chance to make a deep run in the playoffs.
This team has played well under adversity, which is often the mark of a roster that does well in the playoffs.
