The Cleveland Cavaliers have a new point guard.
Tyrese Proctor turned some heads on a star-studded Duke team, and he’s now ready to climb his way up the ladder in the NBA as well.
But first, the former Blue Devil wanted to give back to his community.
In a clip shared by Hoodi Garland on X, Proctor was shown attending a local gym to reach out to some younger players in his native Australia.

The Cavs added a proven veteran when they traded for Lonzo Ball early in the offseason.
He will most likely be the starter if Darius Garland has to miss time early in the season, as expected.
Then, he will be the primary ball-handler and first guy off the bench to lead the second unit.
Even so, Ball has a long history of injuries, and the Cavs will most likely be extremely cautious and err on the side of caution with him.
That will leave some minutes up for grabs, with Proctor and Craig Porter Jr. battling out that third-stringer spot.
Some reports showed that Kenny Atkinson and the front office hadn’t been that impressed with Porter’s work ethic, and the fact that they added Proctor to the mix also might be an indication.
While not the strongest defender, Proctor is an elite shooter from all three levels, and he’s the type of player who doesn’t need to have the ball in his hands to get into a rhythm.
Atkinson barely played the rookies in his first year with the team, but Proctor might find his way to the court in his first year.
