The Cleveland Cavaliers were riding a four-game losing streak heading into their matchup on Sunday with the Utah Jazz.
A losing streak like this was unfamiliar territory for the Cavaliers, as they’ve been one of the most consistent teams in the league.
They’ve had two separate winning streaks of 15+ games, so losing hasn’t been a part of their DNA.
Thankfully for fans, the Cavaliers looked more like themselves in this matchup, winning 120-91 and dominating the Jazz throughout the contest.
One of the main reasons for their dominance was that they gave opportunities for everyone on the roster to score, leaving their opponents confused about who to cover.
As Cavs Notes pointed out on X, the team had six players in double figures, and all 13 players who stepped on the floor had at least two points during the game.

As has been the norm for the Cavaliers in their wins this year, team basketball has been the key to success.
Yes, they have star players like Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland who can take over at a moment’s notice, but it’s their team effort that helps get the job done throughout a game.
Even if their bench players play 10 or fewer minutes, those are valuable opportunities for the Cavaliers’ starters to get some rest, knowing that they are being taken care of when they’re no longer in the game.
It will be interesting to see if they can keep this momentum going for the last month of the season, and if this formula will help them take the deep playoff run that fans are expecting.
