The 2023-24 season has been a great opportunity for Isaac Okoro of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The 23-year-old player has received more time to shine this year and he has been making the most of it.
During his 41 games, Okoro has been shooting a career-best 39% from the three-point line, according to Mack Perry.
Additionally, his one three-pointer a game is also a career-high.

While one three per game might not seem like a huge deal, it’s a step up from what Okoro has done in the past.
In fact, Okoro is basically doing better across the board this season.
He is posting 8.8 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game in 2023-24, shooting 49.8% from the floor and averaging 26.3 minutes per game.
Okoro is doing more than he has in the last few seasons, which is partly because the team has suffered a number of tough injuries throughout the season.
When other players have exited and sat on the sidelines, Okoro has been gifted with more time on the court and he has shown his progression during that time.
Okoro is one of the many role players on the team who has stepped up when the Cavaliers needed him to.
Through injuries and a tough conference, the Cavaliers have thrived, climbing higher and higher in the rankings.
The team is now the second seed in the East with a 34-16 record, behind only the Boston Celtics.
While the Cavaliers are mostly known as a team run by the likes of Donovan Mitchell, Jarrett Allen, Darius Garland, and Evan Mobley, they actually have a roster deeper than it’s been in years.
