What a season it’s been for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The team currently has a league-best 16-1 record and is looking better than they have in years.
One of the most amazing things about the Cavs is just how deep the roster is and how many players are stepping up and contributing.
One of them is Ty Jerome, who is having a terrific season from beyond the arc.
In fact, Jerome is now third in the league for three-point shooting, at 55.1 percent.
That is behind just Josh Green and Nikola Jokic, who have 55.9 percent and 56.4 percent respectively.
Jerome is averaging 11.8 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 3.6 assists during his 18.5 minutes per game.
This is the 27-year-old guard’s third season with the Cavaliers, where he has become a strong bench player the team can rely on often.
He is another example of Cleveland’s depth and power, and a key reason why they are doing so well this year.
Unlike many other teams, the Cavaliers have a lot more than a good starting five.
The front office has been slowly putting together a great second unit over the last several years and Jerome has been part of that.
His three-point ability means that when the team’s starting lineup is on the bench, the Cavaliers are still in good hands.
For the first time since coming to Cleveland, Jerome has started in two games this season.
If he continues to play like this from downtown, he might start in more games throughout the season.
