The Cleveland Cavaliers have had a lot of luck with the last name Nance over the years and they are hoping to continue that in the future.
The team recently signed Pete Nance to a two-way contract and he is ready to get to work as soon as possible.
Speaking to Spencer Davies and the press, Nance talked about his plans for Cleveland.
“Definitely just trying to carve my own path in a league that has a history of the Nance last name,” he said.

Nance was just signed to the contract after a few games with the Cavaliers last month during a ten-day contract.
After that contract expired on January 27, Nance became an unrestricted free agent but eventually made his way back to the Cavaliers.
Before that, Nance spent his time with the Cleveland Charge, the Cavs’ G League team.
So far this season, Nance has averaged 13.6 points, 7.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.5 blocks per game for the Charge, shooting 47.1% from the field and 35.3% from the three-point line.
Nance mentioned that the team has been closely associated with his last name and he’s totally correct.
He is the son of Cavaliers legend Larry Nance and also the younger brother of Larry Nance Jr., who spent four seasons playing in Cleveland.
This latest Nance is hoping that he can have an impact on the team just like his father and brother.
Even though he did quite well in the G League, it’s unclear just how much time Nance will get on the floor during games for the rest of the season.
With this signing, the team’s roster is now once again totally full and no more changes are expected.
