The Cleveland Cavaliers scored arguably their most impressive win of this season just a week ago when they defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 129-122, and it further proved that they’re legitimate championship contenders.
They will get one more crack at the Thunder on Thursday, this time in Oklahoma City, and it will be another opportunity for them to make a big statement to the rest of the NBA.
Guard Ty Jerome has emerged as a key player for them off the bench, but he will reportedly be a game-time decision for them on Thursday versus Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and crew, per Evan Dammarell.
Ty Jerome (illness) is questionable and will likely be a game-time decision for the #Cavs against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Emoni Bates, JT Thor, and Luke Travers remain out.

Jerome came to the Cavs in the summer of 2023 after some stints with the Northern Arizona Suns, Oklahoma City Blue and Santa Cruz Warriors of the G League interspersed between his time with the Phoenix Suns, Oklahoma City Thunder and Golden State Warriors.
He played in just two games with the Cavs last season, but this season, the former first-round pick has blossomed into perhaps the best version of himself.
He’s averaging 10.1 points and 3.4 assists in 17.6 minutes a game and is shooting 49.8 percent from the field and 41.2 percent from 3-point range, which has made him one of their most important depth pieces off the bench.
Cleveland still has the NBA’s best record at 34-5, but the Thunder are right on their heels at 33-6, and Thursday’s game between the two teams may not only be a preview of this summer’s NBA Finals but also determine who would have home-court advantage in such a matchup.
