Things have been quite literally perfect for the Cleveland Cavaliers so far this season, but they may be facing a very serious challenge for Friday night’s game against the Chicago Bulls.
According to Danny Cunningham, the Cavaliers have now downgraded Evan Mobley from probable to questionable for the game, due to an illness.
This means that even if Mobley can play, he may not be at 100% and the Cavaliers should start making plans based on that.

Losing Mobley would hurt a lot because he’s been having the best season of his career.
He is putting up 17.8 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game and has become much more effective.
Mobley has evolved so much, in fact, that some people say he should be in the running for Most Improved Player of the Year.
Mobley has made Cleveland’s frontcourt one of the best in the league and the Cavaliers would miss him in their game against the Bulls.
But they could still win, especially if Jarrett Allen performs well.
The Bulls have a 5-7 record, so they could be challenging but remain the underdogs.
If Mobley does have to miss this game, at least he’d likely be healthy by the time the team has to travel to play the Boston Celtics in a few days.
That game will be a big one and could be their biggest chance at losing their impressive win streak.
Mobley will rest Friday afternoon, try to get better, and hopefully be able to suit up.
But if he can’t, Cavaliers fans hope he is back soon.
