The Cleveland Cavaliers will most likely win 50 games before they lose 15.
That’s why they can afford to let some of their players sit and get back to full strength.
With that in mind, they chose not to rush Isaac Okoro and Dean Wade back.
According to a report by Evan Dammarell, coach Kenny Atkinson revealed that both of his defensive-oriented stars could’ve made an early comeback.
#Cavs head coach Kenny Atkinson said the team could have pushed Isaac Okoro and Dean Wade to get back on the floor sooner but with the All-Star break nearly there, thereās more of a focus to get both back after the break.

Nevertheless, with the All-Star break just around the corner, they chose to give them some more time to rest.
Okoro and Wade have struggled with injuries in the past, and there’s no need to risk further injury right now.
Also, with De’Andre Hunter joining the party, they have a big 3-and-D wing to make up for their absence in the last two games before the break.
The Cavaliers have been the best team in the league by a significant margin this season, but none of that will mean anything unless they cap the year off with a strong postseason run.
As such, the team needs to focus on what’s ahead.
Winning games in February is nice and all, but you don’t want to limp your way to the playoffs.
This team has their eyes on the big prize now.
Fortunately, the Cavs have a deep roster filled with players who can contribute on any given night, and the other guys will hold down the fort while they return to full strength.
