The Cleveland Cavaliers have had an unsung hero on the court in every single game this season.
While he didn’t get an All-Star nod like Evan Mobley, Darius Garland, or Donovan Mitchell, Jarrett Allen’s value and impact on this team have been as big as theirs.
That’s why his teammates rallied around him to give him an award during practice.
As shown by the team on X, he got a trophy for leading the league in field goal percentage (70.6%) during the regular season.
Jarrett Allen received his award for having the highest FG% (.706) in the NBA in the 2024-25 regular season, in which he played ALL 82 GAMES, today at practice.
This is also the highest FG% held by any Cavs player in a single season in franchise history! #LetEmKnow pic.twitter.com/8qfm1kpeuF

That’s the highest field goal percentage held by any Cavs player in a single season in franchise history, and to make it all the more valuable and impressive, he did so while suiting up to play all 82 regular-season games.
Of course, Allen takes most of his shots at the rim, but that doesn’t take anything away from this impressive accolade.
He might not be the biggest factor on offense, but he chipped in with 13.5 points per game this season.
He also grabbed 9.7 rebounds per game and was the team’s defensive anchor down low.
Allen is a hard-working player who doesn’t often take as much credit as he deserves for his consistent play.
He didn’t complain when the Cavs traded for De’Andre Hunter and used him at the four with Mobley at the five to close out games, even if that meant taking a backseat and watching from the bench.
While not the flashiest player in the league, the Cavs wouldn’t have been as good this year without him.
