Over the years, many experts and former NBA stars have criticized the league for going soft when compared to a couple of decades ago.
A key reason behind this is the level of physicality seemingly going down during games.
However, there are still a couple of teams that rely on their toughness to get the better of their opponents.
But the Cleveland Cavaliers is one team that has found a way to overcome that, and they play a tough brand of basketball.
Keeping that in mind, Cavs forward Isaac Okoro recently credited the “enforcers” on the team for making this possible via Spencer Davies on Twitter.
“We have to hand them to the enforcers on our team,” Okoro said.
There’s been a few different occasions this season so far where the #Cavs have emphatically responded to opponents trying to push them around, and it’s happened more often since the playoffs last year.

Okoro mentioned the likes of Jarrett Allen, Georges Niang, and Donovan Mitchell as some of the top enforcers on the Cavaliers’ roster this season.
At the end of the day, having the above-mentioned players on the roster has helped the Cavaliers become one of the top teams in the NBA.
A perfect example of this is the fact that the Cavaliers are currently the second seed in the Eastern Conference with a 36-17 record.
Although the Cavaliers lost a winnable game against the Philadelphia 76ers, the organization bounced back by registering a statement 108-105 win over the Chicago Bulls in their recent matchup.
Considering the Cleveland Cavaliers don’t have any games until the NBA All-Star Weekend is over, it will allow the team to regroup and play the remaining games of the season with a lot more energy in hopes of winning the 2024 title.
