The Cleveland Cavaliers are quietly turning around their season after an underwhelming start to the campaign.
In fact, the Cavaliers currently have a 7-6 record and hold the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference.
It’s the result of their recent three-game winning streak, which has allowed the Cavs to lay down the groundwork for making a comeback as the season progresses.
But what is one huge change that has impacted the team’s mentality this season?
Well, according to analysts Andre Knott and Brian Windhorst via ESPN Cleveland on Twitter, it’s the involvement of team owner Dan Gilbert.
.@DreKnott on Dan Gilbert: "He's been around a lot more recently too,"…..
"I think the owner has been more engaged this year than in recent years," – @WindhorstESPN…. pic.twitter.com/INlSLrbtdi

Being a good NBA team owner is not everyone’s cup of tea.
There are several billionaires who are ready to splash a lot of money on their teams, but only a select few actually take an interest in their sports teams.
With the Cavaliers having an ugly start to the season, Gilbert could have easily strayed his attention away from the team.
Instead, he’s more engaged with the team, and the results are good.
As we mentioned earlier, the Cavaliers are now 7-6 in the regular season with a three-game winning streak.
If the Cavaliers can continue playing at this level, they could have another great year.
But one thing that the front office will expect from Gilbert is to green-light their decision to potentially acquire a few players before the trade deadline to further bolster the team’s chances of winning an NBA Championship.
