The Cleveland Cavaliers continue to roll.
They’ve won 13 games in a row, and they haven’t lost a single game in more than a month.
However, it hasn’t always been easy or pretty.
That was the case on Friday night when they went against the Charlotte Hornets.
Despite clearly being the better team, the home team put up a huge fight.
Eventually, Kenny Atkinson’s team prevailed with a nail-biting one-point win.
Friday's final!

50 free throws to beat one of the worst teams in the NBA
Please do better man— Phil (@Phxlly) March 8, 2025
Let's celebrate. They won by 1 point against a team that had lost 8 straight by an average of 25. If the starters don't want to give any effort, why not just rest them and let the bench players get some run.

I kinda had an idea that it would be a firey finish like this. Wow you guys are on a roll

It’s the core 5 now add hunter. Before the free throw contest the core 5 went on a 12-3 run in 5 mins IIRC.
Bridges had one of the best games of his career at home and we still won. We don’t play any guys playoff minutes either. The NBA is witnessing an unbeatable team.

Granted, the Cavs should’ve been able to take care of business early in this game.
Nevertheless, this is still the NBA, and anybody can beat anybody on any given night.
It’s not usual to win 13 games in a row, and the Cavs are due for a bad game after so many good ones; that’s just the way things go in this business.
If anything, it was great to see the team rally together and still get the job done despite being on the road and playing against someone who had the best game of his career.
Miles Bridges won’t score 46 every night, and the Cavs have proven to be much better than this.
They’ve already clinched a spot in the playoffs, and while you never want to take your foot off the gas or mess with your winning habits, they’re entitled to having a subpar game every now and then.
Now, they’ll look to keep the ball rolling when they visit the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday.
