The Cleveland Cavaliers have won their 56th game of the season, and they have 16 games left.
They’re likely going to win 60 games before they lose 15.
On top of that, they just won their 16th game in a row, which is a new franchise record.
Doing so against one of the better teams in the league, the Memphis Grizzlies, was no small feat.
And another!

The final score didn’t tell the whole picture of the game.
Though the Cavs won by nine points, they held a big lead for most of the contest.
They’ve been at their best whenever they’ve faced contending teams.
Of course, watching them struggle against lesser competition hasn’t been encouraging, but they’ve still found ways to rally and take care of business despite some slow starts.
This team has the makings of a championship basketball club.
They’re even-keeled and don’t feel like they’re out of any game, regardless of the score, deficit, context, venue or opposition.
They’re unfazed by any adversity, and they seem to believe they can come back from any situation.
More than that, they have the pieces to play any brand of basketball the game requires.
Adding De’Andre Hunter gave them one of the most versatile closing lineups in the game, and they’re not that far from clinching the best record in the Eastern Conference and the entire NBA.
