The Cleveland Cavaliers continued their historic run as Evan Mobley dominated with 23 points and 16 rebounds, while Donovan Mitchell contributed 22 points in a 105-100 victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday.
The win placed the Cavaliers in elite company, making them just the 12th team in NBA history to begin a season with an 11-0 record.
For new Cavaliers head coach Kenny Atkinson, the matchup carried personal significance as he faced his former team for the first time since his 2020 departure.
Mobley rose to the occasion, displaying remarkable efficiency by converting 10 of his 11 field goal attempts.
Recent statistics shared by a Cavaliers fan on X highlight Mobley’s growing impact – the young center leads the NBA with 32 dunks through 11 games, establishing himself among the league’s premier rim attackers this season.

The seven-footer’s performance against the Nets wasn’t just a career highlight; it placed him in rare historical company.
Mobley became only the second NBA player to record at least 20 points, 15 rebounds, four steals, and maintain a 90% field goal percentage in a single game.
The only other player to achieve this feat was Ervin Johnson with the Milwaukee Bucks during the 1997-98 season.
Mobley’s development this season extends beyond single-game achievements.
Through the early stretch, he’s posting impressive averages of 18.4 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.8 blocks, and 1.1 steals in under 30 minutes per game.
His three-point shooting has shown marked improvement, connecting at 35% on 7-for-20 attempts from beyond the arc.
This growth is particularly noteworthy considering his progression from his rookie season in 2021-22, when he made 23 three-pointers, followed by a career-high 102 attempts the following year.
The Cavaliers now set their sights on extending their winning streak to 12 games as they prepare to face the Chicago Bulls on Monday, November 11.
