The Cleveland Cavaliers have now won their 13th game in a row and their 53rd game of the regular season.
They’ve already secured a postseason berth, and barring a shocking turn of events, they will have either the best or second-best record in the entire league once it’s all said and done.
That’s why the fans were disappointed to see them struggling to get past the bottom-feeding Charlotte Hornets on Friday night.
Donovan Mitchell wasn’t as sharp from the field as he usually is, missing all of his six three-pointers.
However, Mitchell still gave the fans one of the most electrifying moves of the season.
As shown by SportsCenter on X, the former Utah Jazz star split the defense with an iconic ‘Shammgod’ before beating the first-quarter buzzer with a beautiful floater.

Mitchell was far from satisfied with his game after the game.
He talked about his defensive miscues and how he seemingly went through the motions for most of the game, which is something he deemed ‘unacceptable.’
Even so, this move should be a part of his career highlight reel once he’s no longer playing.
The star guard finished the game with 24 points on 6-of-19 shooting, which is far from ideal, but he still made some big shots down the stretch.
Perhaps the most worrisome part of his stat line was the fact that he only had one assist, but at the end of the day, the Cavs took care of business, and that’s all that matters.
