When you’re 56-11 like the Cleveland Cavaliers are, there are surely going to be plenty of milestones during the season both as a team and for individual players.
While Cleveland saw its 16-game winning streak come to an unfortunate end on Sunday afternoon against the Orlando Magic, Dean Wade became the latest Cavalier to accomplish a personal milestone.
Cavs Notes shared on X that with his first made shot today, Wade reached 500 field goals in his career.
“With his 1st FG today, @deanwade3232 has now made 500 field goals for his @NBA career.”

Wade shot 1-for-2 in the 108-103 loss for three points, six rebounds, and three steals in his 22 minutes of work.
Wade has been a consistent 20-minute-per-game guy for the Cavs for the last five years and he continues to be a vital member of this team’s rotation as they steamroll through the Eastern Conference in hopes of getting over the hump and making it to the Finals for the first time in the post-LeBron James era.
The 28-year-old is shooting a career-low 34.1 percent from three-point range this season after lighting it up for a career-high 39.1 percent last year and has seen a slight dip in his minutes since the De’Andre Hunter trade at the deadline.
The loss to the Magic won’t affect the playoff standings, as Cleveland has the No. 1 seed nearly wrapped up following this latest massive win streak.
The Cavs will aim to get back into the win column and start a new winning streak on Tuesday when they head west to take on the Los Angeles Clippers.
