The Cleveland Cavaliers enter the 2025 NBA Draft in a tough spot.
Unless they pull off a trade, they won’t have a first-round selection and will have to wait until the second round to add a young player.
With that in mind, they have to analyze the players they want to add extremely carefully.
According to Rob Murrows of Ball Report, the Cavs will work out RJ Felton, a dynamic 3-and-D guard who might be available for them.

The East Carolina product spent four seasons in college and showcased impressive durability and physical traits.
He flew under the radar for most of his collegiate tenure but reportedly turned plenty of heads as a last-minute invite to the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament.
Scouts raved about his defensive prowess and versatility.
Felton reportedly compared himself to Gary Payton II with a 3-point shot, and that’s pretty much all you could ask from a defensive-minded second-round pick.
The Cavaliers need to toughen up on defense and add more grit and physicality.
Felton might not have the highest upside because of all the time he spent in college, but that should also make him an NBA-ready, plug-and-play guy.
If, on top of his solid defensive skills, he can also spread the floor with his long-range shooting, he sounds like a seamless fit for Kenny Atkinson’s system.
