Many fans feared what would happen to the Cleveland Cavaliers when they lost Evan Mobley and Darius Garland because of injuries.
When the team also got news of Donovan Mitchell sitting out too, some people thought they’d lose Wednesday night’s game against the Utah Jazz.
But the remaining members of the Cavaliers showed up in a big way against the Jazz and they were especially powerful from beyond the three-point line.
The team highlighted the hard work from beyond the arc on Twitter, showcasing the 23 made three-pointers.
Among the players, Georges Niang sank three three-pointers, Caris LeVert made four, and Max Strus posted six.
Meanwhile, Sam Merrill wowed the crowd with his eight threes.

This was a good game for several reasons.
Beyond the fact that the team scored a 124-116 win without some of its biggest players, it was also Cleveland’s third win in a row.
The team is sixth in the East and has a 16-12 record.
They are doing better than many people expected because of injuries.
Right now, the Cavaliers are eager to get Mitchell back and then they will count down until Garland and Mobley are healthy again.
It’ll be a long process for Garland and Mobley but, so far, the team is showing that they can still win without them.
The hard work of Merrill, LeVert, Niang, Wade, and others shows that the roster is deeper than some people thought and that there are multiple players to keep an eye on.
Merrill has been particularly impressive lately, scoring 19 points and going 5-of-10 from the three-point line just a few days ago.
What will he do next?
