Fans aren’t upset by what they’ve seen from the Cleveland Cavaliers lately, but they are a bit surprised.
Conventional NBA wisdom said the Cavaliers were going to be losing a lot of games after their tough start to the season and the recent injuries of Darius Garland and Evan Mobley.
But the Cavaliers have now won six games in a row.
As noted by StatMuse, that is the longest winning streak in the Eastern Conference right now.

The Cavaliers hold a 24-15 record and are the fourth-best team in the East.
Their six-game win streak is twice as strong as the three-game streak held by the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers.
Since January 3, the Cavaliers have defeated the Washington Wizards (twice), San Antonio Spurs, Brooklyn Nets, Chicago Bulls, and Milwaukee Bucks.
The Cavaliers made light work of the Bucks on Wednesday.
That team was without their biggest star, Giannis Antetokounmpo, but Damian Lillard, Brook Lopez, and Khris Middleton were healthy and playing and still couldn’t slow the Cavaliers.
Cleveland’s 135-95 victory was definitive and impressive and now they get a few days off.
Next up for the Cavaliers is a four-game road trip, which will have them square off against the Atlanta Hawks and Orlando Magic, and then back-to-back games against the Bucks.
Antetokounmpo will likely be back by then so Milwaukee will be a tougher opponent.
However, fans of the Cavaliers have a lot more confidence in their team now.
That means they fully believe their team could take down any other opponent, no matter the odds or injuries.
