The Cleveland Cavaliers won’t be making a huge splash with the draft this year, but that doesn’t mean they will walk away empty-handed.
They hold the No. 49 and 58 picks in the draft, meaning they will go on the second night and probably won’t receive much fanfare.
Still, they are taking their selection process very seriously and considering all of their options.
According to Chris Fedor, the Cavaliers had a group of incoming rookies work out for them this week.
Northwestern’s Brooks Barnhizer, AJ Clayton from Ohio University, Jaxson Robinson from Kentucky, and Amari Williams all worked out for the team.
Which of these players will be suited up in a Cavaliers jersey next season?
#Cavs had an interesting group of prospects in for a pre-draft workout today. League sources tell @clevelanddotcom that Northwestern’s Brooks Barnhizer, AJ Clayton from Ohio University and Kentucky’s Jaxson Robinson and Amari Williams were among the participants.

These are four young men predicted to go either late in the second round or undrafted.
They aren’t going to receive as much attention as other players, but they could still make a splash, albeit a small one.
It’s very likely that one or two of these players will be with the Cavaliers next season, either on the bench with limited minutes or playing for their G League affiliate.
Barnhizer is a guard who averaged 17.1 points and 8.8 rebounds last season with Northwestern, while Clayton averaged 14.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks.
Robinson has played for multiple schools, and Williams is a big man who has played for five seasons.
Cavaliers fans expecting big things from these players might be disappointed, but the team will weigh their options and see who is the best fit for next season and beyond.
