When the NBA wrote its national television schedule months ago, they didn’t know just how good the Cleveland Cavaliers were going to be.
Now halfway through the season, it’s clear that the Cavs are one of the best teams in the league and everyone should be watching them.
According to Evan Dammarell, an upcoming game between the Cavaliers and Memphis Grizzlies will now air nationally on ESPN.
The game will be held on February 23 at 7 PM.
A #Cavs schedule update:
Their February 23 matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies will now be at 7:00 PM on ESPN.

The game wasn’t originally set to air on ESPN and this change will allow millions of people to watch when they previously weren’t able to.
This is a sign that the NBA understands how valuable and special the Cavaliers are.
As the Cavs have earned the best record in the Eastern Conference, they have also gained more attention and praise from people from every fanbase.
But it is very hard for the league to change the national TV schedule they wrote back in the summer, so changes are not usually made.
However, when a team is doing this well, the league is silly to not make a few adjustments, no matter how difficult they are.
The Cavaliers currently have a 44-10 record and remain the best team in the East, while the Grizzlies are doing quite well in the West.
They are the second seed and have a 36-18 record.
There is a chance that both of these teams surge into the playoffs and make a lot of noise in the postseason.
The league wants more people paying attention to both of them, so placing them in the national spotlight is a very smart and strategic move.
