The Cleveland Cavaliers keep rolling.
Kenny Atkinson’s team has been dominant on both ends of the floor, and they put on a masterclass against his former team.
The Cavaliers hosted the Golden State Warriors, a team where Atkinson was a part of the coaching staff for years, and he got the best of his former boss, Steve Kerr.
With that win, the Cavs made even more history.
As pointed out by Cavs Notes on X, they just became the fourth team since 2000 to start the season 10-0.
They joined the 2000-01 Philadelphia 76ers (10-0), 2002-03 Dallas Mavericks (14-0), and 2015-16 Golden State Warriors (24-0).
On top of that, they’re the only team ever to do this while scoring at least 110+ points in each game.
The @cavs are the 4th @NBA team since 2000 to start a season 10-0.
NBA Teams W/10-0 Start Since 2000:
24-25 CLEVELAND: 10-0
15-16 Golden State: 24-0
02-03 Dallas: 14-0
00-01 Philadelphia: 10-0Cleveland is the only team EVER to do so w/110+ PTS in each game.

The new-look Cavaliers aren’t a fluke.
All starters are being uber-aggressive on the offensive end of the floor, feeding off each other night in and night out.
If Donovan Mitchell’s shot isn’t falling, Darius Garland picks up the slack.
Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley swipe both sides of the glass, and the latter has even shown a willingness to take more mid-range and long-range shots, which opens up the floor for the rest of the team.
Atkinson picked up this team and their defensive prowess and took their offense to the next level.
Needless to say, this team is due for regression and will lose a couple of games at one point, but judging by most standards, including the eye test, they’re the best team in the NBA at the moment.
