The Cleveland Cavaliers are lighting it up from distance.
They might not have the Splash Brothers, but they’re the best three-point shooting team in the NBA, and it’s not particularly close.
They’re currently leading the league in three-point shooting percentage at a whopping 39.4%.
And even though they lost to the Houston Rockets, they still made NBA history in their latest outing.
As noted by Cavs Notes on X, the Cavaliers recorded their 48th consecutive game with ten or more made three-pointers.
That’s now the sixth-longest streak of games with at least ten makes from beyond the arc in NBA history.
The @cavs have made their 10th three-pointer so far in tonight’s game, marking the 48th-straight game they have made 10 or more triples.
That is tied for the 6th-longest streak of games with 10 or more three-pointers made in @NBA history.

Needless to say, the streak dates back to last season since the Cavs have only played 43 games this season.
That means they haven’t knocked down fewer than 10 triples in any single game of the Kenny Atkinson era.
Coach Atkinson’s offense has been a joy to watch.
Everybody’s getting their touches, cutting with a purpose, and constantly finding the open man.
Both Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell are more than capable of pulling up or spotting up.
However, their ability to penetrate and attack the rim has also granted this team plenty of wide-open looks from beyond the arc.
Three-point shooting is crucial in today’s pace-and-space basketball, so it’s not surprising that the best three-point shooting team in the league also happens to have the best record.
This streak will be tough to sustain, but given their shooting, they should be able to keep it up for a long time.
