It feels like it was ages ago when Kyrie Irving played for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
He was a show-stopper and one of the most entertaining players to watch, and while he failed to lead the team to success until LeBron James came back, his talent and skills were just mesmerizing.
Unfortunately, his tenure in Cleveland was short-lived.
He forced his way off the team because of some differences with LeBron James, even after winning a ring together.
That’s why, as crazy as it may seem, even Darius Garland has played more games with the team than him now.
As reported by The Cavs Jack on X, Garland has played 382 regular-season games for the Cavs, one more than Irving.

Even so, Garland’s future with the team might be up in the air right now.
Several analysts believe that Garland cannot coexist with Donovan Mitchell in the backcourt.
He’s a defensive liability and has failed to step up when the team has needed him the most.
He’s still young, and he should have an interesting value in the trade market, which is why the team could consider moving on from him and building their project around Mitchell and Evan Mobley, both of whom have a higher ceiling.
Garland has been solid for the Cavaliers.
He’s no Kyrie Irving by any means, and he hasn’t taken the team all the way like Irving did.
But even if this is the end of the line for him, he’s done a decent job at filling in for Kyrie.
