The Cleveland Cavaliers have seven games left in the regular season, hoping to end the year strong heading into the playoffs.
They are currently four games ahead of the Boston Celtics for the No. 1 spot in the Eastern Conference, a standing that would be tough for the Celtics to overtake at this point.
It’s still a possibility, however, so the Cavaliers will need to make sure they keep their foot on the gas to ensure they don’t get overtaken by the defending champions.
The road to the playoffs won’t be easy, as the Cavaliers still have two games against the New York Knicks, and two games against the Indiana Pacers, both of which are among the best in the East.
New York is on the docket for Wednesday night, needing all hands on deck to take down the Knicks.
The Cavaliers are mostly healthy heading into this one, as reporter Evan Dammarell highlighted on X, as Ty Jerome is the only normal player who will be sitting out due to a knee injury.
Ty Jerome (knee) is OUT for the #Cavs against the New York Knicks.
Luke Travers (two-way) is also out.

Stars like Evan Mobley, Donovan Mitchell, and Darius Garland are all expected to play the entire game, giving fans something to watch and get excited about.
This is a potential playoff preview, so it should give fans of both teams an idea of how they stack up against one another.
The East is filled with several great teams this season, so it will be an exciting race to the NBA Finals to see who ends up making it from this conference.
