There is a lot of great competition, but the Cleveland Cavaliers are angling to win their first championship in years.
It won’t be easy and their opponents will put up a huge fight, but Brian Windhorst feels a title is possible for the Cavs.
Speaking on ESPN Cleveland, Windhorst said that the Cavaliers are “a team that can win the championship.”
“So, again, leave your June open,” Windhorst said.

There are worries, of course, because the Boston Celtics and Oklahoma City Thunder are also contending and have had amazing seasons.
And, of course, there is always the chance that an underdog team surprises everyone and makes more noise than expected.
The biggest concern about the Cavaliers has to do with their experience.
They haven’t found much success in the playoffs over the last few years and that could lead to their downfall.
Fans are worried that the Cavs will have one of the best regular seasons ever, only to fall apart when the pressure of the postseason begins to weigh them down.
Others say this will be the year the Cavs prove what they are capable of, and they will have a level of freshness and enthusiasm that will allow them to overtake everyone, including the Celtics or Thunder.
The team has suffered a few rough losses over the last several weeks and that has some fans on edge, but Windhorst said they should still have faith.
They may not win it all this year, but they definitely have what it takes.
