The Cleveland Cavaliers earned their 59th win of the season on Thursday night, beating the San Antonio Spurs 124-116.
Donovan Mitchell was a huge help for his team, posting 25 points, eight rebounds, and 14 assists during the match.
With that achievement, Mitchell earned yet another spot in Cavaliers history.
According to Cavs Notes, Mitchell became just the fourth player in franchise history over the last 40 years to record 25+ points, 8+ rebounds, and 14+ assists in a single game.
He joined LeBron James, Larry Nance Sr., and Andre Miller.

Even if he didn’t make history on Thursday, Mitchell is having a terrific season and has become one of the most important parts of the Cavaliers’ lineup.
He is averaging 23.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game, shooting 44.0 percent from the field.
This is his third year with the Cavs and his best yet, showing off both his offensive and defensive skills as well as his leadership capabilities too.
As for the Cavaliers, they haven’t been this great in years.
They remain the top seed in the East, although the Boston Celtics have been sneaking up behind them and getting closer.
With three wins in a row, many fans are convinced the Cavs will end the season as the top team in their conference.
Next up for them will be the Detroit Pistons on Friday, followed by the Los Angeles Clippers, New York Knicks, and San Antonio Spurs.
They have just nine games left in the regular season and everyone is wondering how well they will do in the postseason.
Mitchell’s Thursday night performance is exactly what fans want to see with the playoffs right around the corner.
