The Cleveland Cavaliers have been the best team in all of basketball this season, and the margin is pretty wide.
They have a top-three offense and a top-ten defense, and they’ve dominated their opposition with double-digit wins more often than not.
However, as good as they’ve been, Bruce Drennan still has some valid concerns about them.
In the latest edition of his show, he praised the way the team has uplifted one another and how everybody has stepped up when a key contributor has been out.
Nevertheless, he still has doubts about their physicality and whether they will be bullied around come playoff time:
“My only concern is are they gonna be physical enough because that has been their downfall these last two years,” he said.
Do you think the Cavs will make it to 70 wins?

That’s a valid concern, as the team has been deemed ‘soft’ multiple times in the past.
Then again, that hasn’t been the case at all this season.
Evan Mobley has been much more aggressive on both ends of the floor, especially on defense.
Also, they’ve added a true enforcer in Javonte Green, who’s a physical defender who won’t back down from any challenge.
De’Andre Hunter also gives them an elite stopper and versatile player who can guard one through five, and that will take plenty of pressure off everybody else.
Donovan Mitchell doesn’t shy away from contact, and he will get to the line as early and often as needed if the game comes down to that.
Darius Garland, on the other hand, still has to prove that he can withstand the physicality of the postseason after years of shortcomings there.
Whatever the case, this team is special, and they should be ready to roll when the playoffs come.
