The Cleveland Cavaliers are hoping to secure their longest win streak of the season on Friday night when they face off against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Getting to 16 consecutive wins is always hard and the Grizzlies won’t go easy on the Cavs.
Sadly, the Cavaliers will be without a few players for the game.
According to Serena Winters, Emoni Bates, Nae’Qwan Tomlin, Luke Travers, and Donovan Mitchell will be out for Friday’s game.
Additionally, De’Andre Hunter is probable but not guaranteed for the match due to an illness.

The loss of Mitchell hurts the Cavaliers a lot, as he may be the team’s most important player.
He hasn’t played since March 9 due to left groin soreness.
The Cavaliers had a lengthy injury list during their last game against the Brooklyn Nets and were without Bates, Hunter, Mitchell, Tomlin, and Ty Jerome.
Despite that, they were able to pull out a win, although it was a close one.
With that being said, the Grizzlies will likely be a lot tougher than the Nets were.
And the loss of these few players could get in the way of the Cavaliers earning 16 wins in a row.
The Grizzlies will be short-handed too because they will be without Zyon Pullin, Yuki Kawamura, and Santi Aldama.
Jaren Jackson Jr. is also questionable with a left ankle sprain.
Friday’s game will be held in Memphis, which will intensify the competitiveness of the game and make things harder for the Cavaliers.
They definitely have a few things stacked against them but they could still come out victorious.
The team has never been so deep and their entire roster is capable of providing a lot, both in the starting five and the second unit.
This isn’t a great injury report for the Cavaliers but it doesn’t mean they are assured a loss against Memphis.
16 consecutive wins are very possible, especially if the rest of the team keeps playing well.
