Everyone can agree that the Cleveland Cavaliers are having their best season in years, possibly ever.
Their winning record has been phenomenal and multiple players on the roster have stepped up and provided more.
Donovan Mitchell has been at the center of it all and spoke about the team’s historic season with Camryn Justice.
In a preview of an interview with Justice, Mitchell said the team’s success is all due to the “sacrifice” that everyone has made.
As he has before, Mitchell suggested that the team’s “next man up” mentality has helped them become such a serious presence in the Eastern Conference and a team that everyone fears before the playoffs.
I sat down with Donovan Mitchell to talk about the #Cavs impressive season and the pursuit of their ultimate goal.

The team has undergone only a few changes since last year.
They have a new head coach, of course, and the addition of De’Andre Hunter was a big deal.
But the roster has been remarkably consistent since last season and that has been one of the team’s biggest assets.
They have crafted a very strong and steadfast culture and camaraderie.
And with that, every player has focused on what they can individually do to make a better team.
For his part, Mitchell hasn’t just worked on his offensive and defensive skills, but he has also leaned into the leadership role that has been thrust upon him.
He is a guiding force in every play and handles and dishes the ball to his teammates.
He has been an excellent floor general this year and one of the many important parts of their amazing run.
Mitchell said he is glad the city of Cleveland is getting more respect and attention but he has one goal in mind: bringing home a championship for the Cavaliers.
He believes the mindset of his team will make that possible.
