The Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday night and Darius Garland was one of the many players who contributed.
Garland posted 13 points, five rebounds, and five assists during the win and also reached an important career milestone.
As pointed out by Cavs Notes on X, Garland made his 1,000th career free throw during Sunday’s game.
He is just the 17th player in Cavaliers history to reach that mark and there are surely many more ahead of him.

Garland wasn’t the only one chipping in during the game on Sunday.
Max Strus led with 17 points and nine rebounds while Donovan Mitchell had 15 points, five rebounds, and six assists.
Meanwhile, Garland and Mobley both put in their 13 points and Jarrett Allen scored 11 points and six rebounds.
Up and down the roster, there were numerous players who helped the Cavaliers score another win, their 54th of the season.
For 2024-25, Garland is averaging 20.9 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 6.7 assists on 47.8 percent from the field and 41.5 percent from the three-point line.
He is having arguably the best season of his career and is one of the most celebrated point guards in the entire league.
If he continues to play this well and the Cavaliers keep accumulating a bunch of wins, Garland might be a champion in a few months.
This latest win is just more proof that they have what it takes to overcome their toughest Eastern Conference foes.
Some people still have concerns about the Cavaliers but the questions about their ability to win it all are becoming less and less frequent.
