The Golden State Warriors got the best of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals three out of four times.
Stephen Curry and company are single-handedly responsible for taking three rings away from LeBron James.
Nevertheless, even despite that, the Cavs might have bragging rights over the Warriors.
At least, that might be the case with Kyrie Irving.
Showing up at the All-Star weekend at Oracle Arena, the Dallas Mavericks point guard recalled the spot where he sunk that iconic shot in Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals (via NBA on ESPN).

Irving pulled up over Stephen Curry to knock down a three-pointer and put the game out of reach, thus sealing the greatest comeback in NBA Finals history.
With that shot, the Cavs became the first team in NBA history to come back from a 3-1 series deficit.
More than that, they also ruined the Warriors’ record-breaking season in a year they had won 73 games in the regular season and looked poised to run away with the Larry O’Brien trophy.
Unfortunately, the Cavs weren’t able to build from that momentum.
They got back to the biggest stage multiple times, but to no avail.
Eventually, Irving found his way to another team, and James left the Cavaliers again.
Nonetheless, this will go down as one of the greatest moments in professional sports history.
And even if things didn’t end well between Kyrie Irving and the organization, the fans should always be thankful to him for uplifting the team and bringing a championship home.
