They may be the best team in the Eastern Conference with a good chance of going far in the playoffs, but the Cleveland Cavaliers are still contemplating making changes before the NBA trade deadline.
There have been rumors of the Cavs trading for Cam Johnson but any deal will come with conditions.
According to Evan Sidery, a potential trade for Johnson will need to include rookie Jaylon Tyson.
“Due to Cleveland’s lack of premium draft assets, the inclusion of their recent first-round pick could make their offer more competitive compared to others,” Sidery wrote.
In any potential trade between the Cavaliers and Nets involving Cam Johnson, Jaylon Tyson would likely have to be included.

Tyson has averaged 2.0 points and 1.7 rebounds per game during his first season, shooting 40.4 percent from the field and playing for an average of seven minutes per game.
The Cavaliers view Tyson as a young star who can grow into a much better player as he is given more time.
Of course, they don’t have a lot of time to spare these days because they are doing so well and intent on holding onto their record.
If Tyson were to move to the Nets, he would be given more minutes and more opportunities to enhance and grow his game.
It could be a great move for his career, even though he’d be parting ways with the Cavaliers while they are at their peak.
Cleveland would have to give up more than just Tyson because Johnson has become a very hot target over the last few weeks.
But if any deal happens, it’ll most definitely involve their young rookie who is still adjusting to playing in the NBA.
