Cleveland Cavaliers fans have been treated to some fantastic basketball all season.
This team has out-performed their preseason expectations and is now viewed as one of the favorites to win the NBA Finals.
It started with a 15-game winning streak to start the year, and while they’ve lost a few games here and there, the Cavaliers have shown that they’re a force to be reckoned with.
From their star players to their elite depth on the bench, the Cavaliers keep finding ways to win, often dominating their opponents.
They can’t win every night, however, and they’re coming off a blowout loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Fans were worried about this matchup heading into the game, considering how well the Thunder have played this year, and unfortunately, the Cavaliers were unable to match their energy.
Losing one game doesn’t hurt the Cavaliers in the short-term, or likely, long-term future, but fans were still upset to see their team lose against a top-tier opponent.
A little concerning. Mitchell has been going missing a fair amount this season.
DG leads once again.
Mobley had an uncharacteristic bad game.
Allen has been great the last few games.— MINISTRY OF TRUTH (@SteveHa10721063) January 17, 2025
Most overrated team in the league🤣🤣🤣

Fans can often be a team’s harshest critics, and that proved to be true after this game.
One fan noted his frustration with Donovan Mitchell, whose off night didn’t help in the team’s loss.
Another fan wondered if the team’s reliance on the three-point shot was their downfall in this game and if they’ll need to pivot away from that in the back half of the season.
Taking a lot of threes isn’t a bad strategy if you’re making a large portion of them, but at least in this game, they weren’t falling, leading to their demise.
