The Cleveland Cavaliers are gearing up for a tough stretch of games.
The Boston Celtics, Denver Nuggets, and Miami Heat are all on the horizon, teams that should challenge the Cavaliers and showcase if they are true contenders.
However, before they get to those three matchups, the Cavaliers will first need to take on the Atlanta Hawks twice in a three-game stretch.
The Hawks are on a three-game losing streak, which should be good news for Cavaliers fans, but this team cannot be taken lightly.
This is especially true considering Chris Fedor’s recent X post, where he highlighted that Caris LeVert and Dean Wade will both miss the first of these two matchups.
#Cavs Caris LeVert (left knee injury management) and Dean Wade (ankle sprain) are both OUT tomorrow night against Atlanta.

LeVert is out due to injury management for his knee, and Wade is still dealing with a pesky ankle sprain.
While neither of these players is their top contributor on either side of the floor, missing depth pieces is never helpful.
Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, and Evan Mobley might have to play more minutes than usual, and the Cavaliers might have to call on a few unlikely heroes to get the job done in this game.
The Hawks still have Trae Young and despite their record, this team can still pour it on when necessary.
Getting a win in the first game of this mini-series is crucial for the Cavaliers to start this difficult stretch on the right foot.
Fans are hopeful that Wade and LeVert will be back sooner than later, which should mitigate any further injury risk to their biggest stars.
