A new era for the Cleveland Cavaliers has begun and fans are absolutely ecstatic about it.
Things were already looking up for the team, which had a stellar regular season last year but sputtered and fell apart towards the end.
The upcoming season had a lot of promise but then things got taken to a whole new level when the team secured Donovan Mitchell from the Utah Jazz.
That monster trade was easily one of the biggest of the summer and it immediately raised the bar for what people expect from this group.

The team’s backcourt is particularly interesting because it will now feature both Mitchell and Darius Garland, who is considered one of the best up-and-coming guards in the league.
With Mitchell and Garland together, the sky is the limit for the Cavs.
These two superstars were spotted together in public for the first together after Mitchell’s introductory press conference the other day.
They seem to be getting along very well so far, which suggests a great start for their partnership.
This is exactly what fans of the Cavaliers wanted to see.
New NBA Brotherhood
If Mitchell and Garland are able to work together as a unit, the Cavaliers will really be one of the most dangerous – and fun – backcourts in the league.
Garland was already one of the star players for the team and also one of the most talked-about guards in the East.
Mitchell has been doing incredible perimeter work for the Jazz for years now.
While this is the first time we have seen these two together in public, there is no doubt that they’ve been working hard behind the scenes together, getting to know one another and testing out their rhythm.
The regular season is just weeks away and Mitchell and Garland are surely ready to debut their new partnership.
