While many people talk about the young stars involved with the Cleveland Cavaliers, we cannot forget the vets too.
And when we speak of vets with the Cavs, we are speaking of Kevin Love.
Love has been in the NBA since 2008 and has spent a lot of that time with this Cleveland team.
He’s been with them through thick and thin and is now considered a legendary asset and a vital part of the team’s recent success.

On Tuesday, the team celebrated Love by posting a picture of his first time holding a Cavaliers jersey with the caption, “Eight years full of Love.”
It’s been a wild eight years, with many ups and downs, but right now Cavs fans feel like the best is yet to come.
Loving Love
Love joined the Cavs in the 2014-15 season, after playing his first few years with the Minnesota Timberwolves, who selected him as the fifth overall pick in the 2008 draft.
When he was sent to Cleveland, Love was seen as one of the most promising up-and-coming stars in the league: a big man who was able to shoot well and was an excellent rebounder too.
Since joining the Cavs, Love has been an All-Star twice and has secured a ring with LeBron James and Kyrie Irving.
But after both of those guys left the team, Love stuck around and rode it out with the squad.
There were some rough seasons for the Cavaliers but Love kept playing his heart out and his point output remained in the double digits.
Today, he’s putting up 13.6 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 2.2 assists while remaining a source of inspiration, wisdom, and guidance for the young players.
Love is now an elder statesman for the Cavaliers and he is playing that role perfectly.
