The Cleveland Cavaliers had a lot of special stars on their squad last season.
Obviously, the Cavs were proud of the output from guys like Darius Garland, Jarrett Allen, Kevin Love, and others.
But they also were elated with the hard work and skill of their rookie star, Evan Mobley.

Mobley was an animal during his first year in the league.
He put up 15 points per game and made history as only the fourth rookie to average at least 14 points, 8 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.5 blocks.
He also had 57 games where he scored in double figures and was named a 2022 NBA All-Rookie First Team selection.
What a breakout year for the star, who is promising to only get better in his second year – and the years ahead.
Eager For Evan
All NBA teams want a rookie like Mobley.
The seven-foot forward is incredibly effective on the floor in a number of ways.
Not only can he score 15 points a game, but he can also grab 8.3 boards too.
He is the sort of star that a team can be built around.
The other guys on the crew, like Garland, Allen, and Lauri Markkanenย only make the team so much better.
With Mobley and Allen in the frontcourt and Garland running the backcourt, the Cavs are something dangerous and threatening to the rest of the league.
Mobley has a chance to get even better in the new season.
His numbers will likely rise and, because of that, the team has a better chance of making it far into the postseason for the first time in years.
Mobley didn’t win Rookie of the Year last season but he was certainly in the running.
Yet, his second year in the league might be even better than the first.
