Most of the attention on the Cleveland Cavaliers has revolved around Donovan Mitchell since he joined the team.
The acquisition of Mitchell was indeed a big deal and it made many people finally believe the team could make it far in the playoffs and possibly even reach the Finals.
But he’s not the only great aspect of this squad.
In fact, there are two great stars quite literally at the center of the team and they are shining brighter than ever.

So far this season, Jarrett Allen is averaging 13.5 points and 12.2 rebounds a game, alongside 1.4 blocks.
That’s a double-double every night while shooting 53.3% from the field.
Meanwhile, Evan Mobley is putting up 15.2 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks a game while landing 55.4% of his shots.
These two guys are taking an already-great team and making them even greater.
The Cavs are fast and strong and big thanks to Allen and Mobley.
The One-Two Punch
The Cavaliers are one of the few teams that have an incredible backcourt and a frontcourt that matches it.
Allen and Mobley are working wonderfully together and that is a cause for celebration for all Cavs fans.
Because Allen sat out of most season last year, most didn’t know how well he would work with Mobley.
But so far he has shown that these two go together like peanut butter and jelly.
If the Cavs are going to stay strong all season, both Allen and Mobley will need to keep producing as they have been,
Meanwhile, the backcourt will also have to stay stellar with Darius Garland and Mitchell working in tandem as well.
This team has a plethora of talent but Allen and Mobley are perhaps the two most important parts of this roster.
